Déjà dans la Bible, la grenade est l'un des sept fruits de la Terre promise, et les Juifs, qui ont identifié ses 600 graines aux 613 préceptes de la Torah, l'ont reconnue comme un symbole d'honnêteté et d'équité.
Pour les Perses, en particulier, les graines de couleur sang indiquent l'énergie vitale, qui - comme nous le rappelle la tradition chrétienne - signifie également la force dans la passion.

La prise de conscience que nous vivons sur la Terre comme une "maison commune" avec tous les peuples et les êtres vivants doit conduire à un changement de notre "mode de vie".
Le développement d'une meilleure éthique de la personne
Les relations économiques et de travail sont à la base des relations sociales et humaines. Le profit est un objectif important, mais pas le seul, d'une entreprise. Valoriser chaque travailleur et trouver les moyens de production les plus durables permet également d'obtenir de meilleurs résultats commerciaux.
Comment choisir la grenade ?
Privilégiez les grenades à la peau rouge foncé, presque marron, mais sans brunissure. Les petites grenades seront sèches et immangeables. Sachez que plus le fruit est lourd, plus sa chair sera pulpeuse. Une grenade mûre se reconnaît au bruit métallique qu'elle produit lorsque l'on tape dessus.
La technique la plus simple pour savourer une grenade ?
La couper en deux avec un couteau bien aiguisé et déguster les graines rosées avec une cuillère, à même le fruit.
A Monaco on trouve facilement les grenades à cette époque de l’année, nous en avons trouvé des magnifiques sur le marché de la Condamine, le nouveau lieu tendance de la Principauté. Ce marché est situé sur la place d’Armes au pied du Rocher.

Even in the Bible, the pomegranate was one of the seven fruits of the Promised Land. Jewish tradition identifies its 600 seeds with the 613 precepts of the Torah, holding it as a symbol of honesty and decency.
For the Persians in particular, the blood-coloured seeds indicate a vital energy that, similar to Christian tradition, also signifies enduring passion.

World peace and solving the pandemic crisis are priorities. But we expect from 2022:
A true awareness of the climate emergency
A recognition that this Earth is our common home, one that we share with all people and living things, should lead to a change in the way we live.
The development of a better ethics of the person
Economic and professional relationships are at the foundation of our social contract. Profit is an important element, but it is not a company’s only objective. Valuing each employee (see our article, ‘Management: the secret to lasting success’) and finding more sustainable means of production also improve the bottom line.
Good to know:
Choose pomegranates with dark red, almost brown skin, but without browning. Small pomegranates will be dry and inedible. Be aware that the heavier the fruit, the fuller the flesh. A ripe pomegranate can be recognized by the metallic sound it makes when tapped.
The easiest way to enjoy a pomegranate? Cut it in half with a sharp knife and eat the pink seeds with a spoon, right on the fruit.
In Monaco, pomegranates are easy to find at this time of the year, we found some beautiful ones at the Condamine market, the new trendy place in the Principality. This market is located on the Place d'Armes at the foot of the Rocher.
